Teaming for Technology Colorado

The TechLaunch Selection Committee plays a vital role in helping Teaming for Technology Colorado select qualified organizations to receive computer hardware and training through the TechLaunch grant program.

TechLaunch finalist applications and site visit notes are reviewed by all members of the TechLaunch Selection Committee. Once complete, the input from the Selection Committee and representatives of T4T and IBM are compiled and the 2008 grant recipients decided.

Teaming for Technology Colorado received more than seventy applications this year for our IBM-sponsored TechLaunch grant. Fifteen finalists have been selected to receive site visits within the next few weeks.

T4T has now stopped accepting applications for TechLaunch 2008. Our thanks to all of the organizations who submitted applications. This year we received more than sixty applications and we will be reviewing them over the course of the coming days. During the week of April 21st, we hope to contact those organizations selected to advance to the next stage of the grant process, which consists of site visits by T4T staff. At that time, we will also be notifying those organizations that were not selected to advance.

T4T can help! Through our TechLaunch grant program we have distributed more than $550,000 worth of brand new IBM/Lenovo computers to Colorado nonprofits over the past decade. It's that time of year again. No, not the deadline to submit your tax return . . . the chance to receive brand-new IBM/Lenovo computer equipment through Teaming for Technology Colorado's annual TechLaunch grant program.

Each year, IBM donates thousands of dollars worth of brand-new desktops and laptops to chosen nonprofit organizations across the Front Range. In addition to receiving new computers, the selected nonprofits also receive tailored technology training and assistance from T4T and our community partners.
